Mike Brown, Senior Minister
Pastor Mike and his wife, Cara, are residents of Boonville, MO. He grew up in Warrensburg, MO and was active in the First Christian Church there throughout his youth. Ordained in 1974, Mike has pastored churches in Texas, Kansas, Missouri, and Iowa. While in Iowa he was blessed to be able to work as a hospice musician while also serving two churches. Cara and Mike have four children and eight grandchildren. Watching them in their activities of gymnastics, swimming, volleyball, track, football, and wrestling are among these grandparent’s greatest passions.
Stacie Cloven, Administrative Assistant
Stacie Cloven returned to First Christian Church to become Administrative Assistant in November 2015. She oversees the FCC business office and all the clerical duties and interaction with the many and varied needs of our congregation. She has been an Administrative Assistant most of her working career. She worked as an Administrative Assistant at Boone Hospital Center in the medical field for 15 years. Stacie grew up here in First Christian Church attending with her mother, Shirley Gates-Sudbrock, father, Merle Gates, and her brothers, Bryan and Daniel. For a period of time, Stacie attended Bethlehem Baptist Church in rural Centralia with her mother. Stacie and her husband, Mike, live here in Centralia. They have two adult sons, Clayton and Cameron, a daughter-in-law, Kiara, and one granddaughter, Brooklyn.

Stacy Davenport, Children’s Minister
Stacy Davenport grew up in the Callao Christian Church in Callao, Missouri. She moved to Centralia with her husband, Jeremy, in 2006. They have three daughters, Cora, Claire, and Cate. Stacy and Jeremy were baptized together and became members of the First Christian Church of Centralia in 2007. Stacy’s goals as Younger Youth Director is to lead the children closer to God, and to trust in Jesus! She plans an emphasis on balancing recreation, bible study, worship, and service projects. She is also a stay-at-home mom and daycare provider.
Taylor Jennings, Music Director
Taylor is from Lathrop, Missouri and is a honors graduate of Lathrop High School, where she participated in several activities, including the Northern Hills Baptist Church Youth Praise Team, Lathrop Pride Marching Band and Concert Bands, Choir, plus softball and track teams. Taylor currently resides in Columbia and studies Music Education at the University of Missouri. She also participates in a choir group and wind band ensemble on campus.
