Our Purpose
The FCC Church Ladies meet on the second Sunday of each month at 3 p.m. in the chapel for fellowship. Women of all ages are included. We do many projects for the church such as:
- Bereavement dinners
- Summer lunch program for community children
- Collections for student needs at the local schools, such as socks and underwear, gloves, lice kits, and school supplies.
- School and health kits for the Festival of Sharing
- Blankets for Church World Service
- Support of community ministries such as the Ministerial Alliance Assistance Fund, Woodhaven, Esther’s Pantry and Ronald McDonald House, Coyote Hill and True North.
- Equipment purchases for the church kitchen.
Funds for these purposes are raised from our annual Craft Bazaar and Chili/Soup meal in the fall. We also have a popular Christmas Cookie Sale in December.
Our Prayer
Unto you, O God, we give our thanks and lift our hearts in prayer. May your presence be with us and your love surround us as we work together as women of faith. Open our eyes to the needs of the world and fill our hearts with concern for all people. Guide us that we may truly serve you through Jesus, Christ, our Lord. Amen.
Our Scripture
“What we have seen and heard we tell you also so that you will join us in the fellowship that we have with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ” I John 1:3 TEV
