After prayerful consideration, we will not be having any services (church or Sunday School) starting March 22, 2019. This is due to the ongoing threat of the Corona (Covid-19) virus. Following the guidance of the CDC to not have gatherings larger than 10 people, we do not want to put our pastor or any of our congregation at risk. We will be live streaming Mike’s sermon on our public Facebook page and on You Tube at 9am this Sunday. We will also be recording the sermon and posting it to our website, so please plan on tuning in to watch. Please spread the word to anyone you know that doesn’t do Facebook or internet.

We are also working on setting up an on-line giving option for all that would like to give their contributions in this manner. We will be sending out instructions about this in the near future. Until then you can send your contributions to:
First Christian Church
229 S Rollins
Centralia, MO 65240

We will be following this protocol until further notice. We ask that you keep our church, our community and our country in your daily prayers.

Sharon Farrington Nelson
Chairman of the Board

We welcome all visitors with open arms! We hope you will feel right at home as we worship together today.  If you are searching for a church home, we’d like you to know that there’s a special place here just for you.

A Place for Worship

The primary reason we meet together is His blessing and inspiration.  Each of these occasions is a special time of spiritual refreshment. We hope this is what you experience today.

A Place for Learning

To us, studying the Bible is vital because it not only instructs us intellectually but also guides us spiritually. We believe it and accept it as God’s Word to us, a Book that is alive and relevant to life today.  Learning its truths is a thrilling adventure.

A Place for Enrichment

For every person at every age level, we offer a wealth of opportunities – special programs and ministries for children, youth, and adults. You can be sure that in this kaleidoscope of activities there’s more than one place where you can be personally enriched.

A Place for Friendship

Nothing quite compares to the joy of Christian friendship.  We make it a priority to build lasting bonds between the members of our church family – bonds of concern and genuine commitment to one another. Best of all, this circle of care is ever-widening.  We’d love for it to include you, too.

A Place for Service

Just as Jesus Christ came “not to be ministered unto, but to minister…” we accept our responsibility to reach out in service to others. This applies both within the church family and outside our fellowship. We look forward to serving you, and we hope to see you again.
